Started in December 2009, the purpose of this blog is primarily to foster debate on issues relevant to US national security, with a focus on Pakistan and Afghanistan, but also addressing counterterrorism, counterinsurgency, homeland and international security more broadly. As such, the blog welcomes a diversity of views and opinions. The goal is not to become just another echo-chamber.
